I'm Not Making This Up......

Yesterday, I was in the turn lane at the intersection across from San Souci Plaza, heading south on Rte 235, waiting for the green arrow so I could make the turn heading back north.

I spotted this blonde woman in a dark blue Dodge Caravan pull up to the gas pumps at the closed Shell station on my left. Curious, I watched her stop at the 1st set of pumps, study them for a moment, then pull up to the next set.

She then got out of the van and tested one of the gas nozzles, looking it over, then put it back in it's slot, got back in her van and closed the door.

Never once did I see her look at the building to notice if any lights were on(duh!).

Nevermind that the Shell station has been closed since Jan 1st. :lmao:

Had to give it a rest for a while; you know - same old, same old.

Sorta like coming out of a coma? It's all good.

PS: If it was a redhead or a brunette, I doubt it would have happened.

Only a blonde could have pulled that one off! :lmao:

But damn, the place had been dead for 3 months!

Really, you had to have been there to take it all in, and marvel at what was taking place.

Part of you kinda knows what could happen next, but the other side of you says "no, there's no way - it's not gonna go down this way!"

I'm sitting there, in the truck, waiting for the light to turn green - and this woman nonchalantly goes about it, like "one of these gas pumps has got to work, dammit!"

I seriously thought that she would start screaming, jumping up and down, in front of those pumps - and I would have lost it right there! :lmao:

I would have been mentally ruined for the rest of the day - breaking up in laughter in front of my co-workers!

I always wonder if that ever happens at that gas station with the sign that says like $1.63 a gallon for gas. I think that one is just up from the Wawa on Great Mills Road.

Yeah, that one is on the corner of Chancellor's Run Rd. and Great Mills Rd.

If you see that one happening, be sure and get your cellphone camera out, and shoot that puppy! That would get 1st place news on St. Marys Today!
