Imams to sue everybody...

Remember the Imams who got tossed off some flights not too long ago?

Well, John Doe, it's your fault!

Six imams who are suing an airline and an airport for removing them from a flight also have aimed the lawsuit at passengers who the imams believe reported some of their activities.

That should scare the crap out of ALL of us, lib to con.

"If reporting suspicious behavior becomes actionable, that could have a dangerous precedent for reporting other crimes, like child abuse and abductions," Mr. Behrens said. "It's certainly a form of intimidation to go after passengers."

The same ones that tossed a Christian reporter two days ago because of his affiliation? Yes, I do recall that.

Does a judge really have to hear this or can he/she throw it out? I never have understood the problem - "misunderstanding". I once met a guy from the MD Joint Terrorism Task Force and he gave me a little card listing tip reporting information. The card made it clear that any suspicious, unusual, unsettling information should be forwarded to authorities.

I would refer the Imams to the same card. And then walk away.

...what the threshold his as to when a judge can toss a case but, we all know how big a deal precedent is. Starting with Miranda, who most people don't know was guilty as hell, we've thrown our courts into chaos and common sense out the window.

A judge will have to hear the case before he guffaws in the imams' faces. Otherwise, the lawyers will claim their clients were denied a fair hearing.

I don't think the Imams believe they can win a case as hollow at this. But they can cost the airlines and the airports a couple million in legal fees.

In My Opinion
for a couple hundred grand I'll save the airlines millions.

America...Land of Litigation.
If they want to waste their time and money on a lawsuit that is doomed before it's begun, so be it. Half of America filed lawsuits against the Borat movie because it showed what goobers they are. Guess how that turned out.

"Very Niiice" :yay:
