Sestak White House scandal called 'impeachable offense'

Our Lord and Savior has, once again, it seems, broken the law.

If a Democratic member of Congress is to be believed, there's someone in the Obama administration who has committed a crime – and if the president knew about it, analysts say it could be grounds for impeachment.

"This scandal could be enormous," said Dick Morris, a former White house adviser to President Bill Clinton, on the Fox News Sean Hannity show last night. "It's Valerie Plame only 10 times bigger, because it's illegal and Joe Sestak is either lying or the White House committed a crime.

My question; If you are a deity, does the law even apply to you?

Write or wrong, the "spoils" system has been around as long as, well, the US Presidency. Why are some folks suddenly worried about it now? Does anyone honestly believe this is the first time a federal job has been offered by an administration in exchange for something? What job was actually offered? Was it a civil service job or a political appointment? Does Section 18 of the USC apply to only civial service jobs or does it also apply to political appointment jobs? The rules are not all the same for both job types. So a lot would depend on what job may or may not have been offered and what rules apply to that job.

As far as Rove's assertion that, "18 USC 595, which prohibits a federal official from interfering with the nomination or election for office. ... 'If you'll get out, we'll appoint you to a federal office,' – that's a violation of the law." Well, that would mean anytime a President campaigns on behalf of a candidate, that President is interfering with that nomination or election.

I do agree with Rove that Sestak needs to be forthcoming with all of his story. IF a law was broken, than whoever did the breaking need to be hold accountable.

Postmaster General.

The way I understand it, when Air Force One was hijacked by the Russians, the president tricked them by launching an emergency escape shuttle - while secretly hiding in the cargo hold. After some discreet maneuvering, he made his way into the state room where the rest of the staff was being held hostage.

While he was assessing the situation, he was trying to come up with ways to reach the military, and other members of the cabinet still on the ground. This was made difficult because the Russians had taken over the communications on the plane... but then one of the IT people suggested that to communicate with the ground, they could use the Fax which operated on a different network - unbeknownst to the commies.

The actual scandal part was when Obama told the IT person: "If this works, you get to be Postmaster General".

I found that highly inappropriate and was righteously offended.

Work of art, that.

It's pretty amazing how the Lefties whined and puled for 8 years, accusing Bush of everything under the sun, and losing their minds that Congress wouldn't start impeachment hearings. Yet their boy is basically doing what he pleases and breaking any laws that he finds inconvenient because he owns Congress, and....not a peep out of them.
