Two winters ago a fake girl scout came around our house - we unknowingly shelled out some cash for cookies and they never came...I did call the local chapter, to find out when delivery was. As it turned out the Lusby girlscouts are not allowed to go door to door do to safety reasons.

I saw this girl and her mother at the pool last summer. They appeared to need the money more than my family. I'm not sure the jail time would have helped, had they been caught...(no i did not turn them in, no police were involved).

Last year a little boy came to the door. He was selling tulip poplar blooms....as in, he broke pieces of branches with blooms on them and was selling them for $1. :lmao: I asked him what the money was for, and he said his mom asked him to sell them because she needed the money, so I bought one. I figured if he lied and was going to keep the money, at least he was selling something. If his mom really needed the money, then I helped him out. It was weird though....

Did you confront, or just let it go?
