Army Environmental Programs Awarded For Making a Difference

Kudos to the Army and their efforts to help the environment. I also noticed on Southern Maryland, they have a helpful tip sheet to make the environment a better place. Top 10 Things You Can Do to Help Maryland's Environment

I came across a great contest for non-profit business professionals at
www.svn.org/imaginewhatsnext <http://www.svn.org/imaginewhatsnext>. They
are holding a contest to reward business leaders for starting or running
socially responsible companies. This seems to be a growing trend!

Can you think of ways to help?

I was reading an article about "green" cleaning, and a lot of the suggestions involved vinegar...as in wiping down your counters with a water/vinegar solution. Nasty. :jameo:

Stinky! I'm a bleach junkie. Good thing I'm back on public sewer.

Why do you say that? Vinegar only smells for a few seconds, then you can't smell it at all once it dries.

Not that I do that, but it still isn't stinky.

I used balsamic vinegar and now my counters are sticky. Can you help me, Heloise?

Really? I thought it would just stinky up the house. If mama Vrai says it doesn't, I may try.
