A teacher in Brooklyn had his sixth-grade class send letters to the troops. A large portion of them were, to put it bluntly, demoralizing. The teacher has issued an apology. It's still unclear if the kids got any "coaching".

(Actually, what doesn't surprise me is the liberal mindset that thinks what troops need to hear is how horrible what they're doing, is. They naturally assume everyone believes as they do. I can't figure why they'd think calling soldiers criminals and murderers would HELP them, but, that's the way it goes).
