These are NOT my dogs, I just told these people I would try to help them.
One of my neighbors passed away and left her husky to another neighbor, but the dog is too much for them. He is a large adult [maybe 4-5 yrs] red male husky, I don't know too much about him aside from I groomed him several times. I believe he is neutered, and he is up to date on his shots. If they don't find somebody to take him he will go to the shelter next week.
Without going into detail another neighbor is moving and cannot take their lab mix with them. They are heartbroken but, well things happen. He is a black male, not too large, up to date on everything, neutered and I believe has had obedience training. He is an inside dog, crate trained. They are moving the end of the month, and they are willing to drive if they could find a no-kill shelter. Tri-county has already told them he would be put down if he went there.
If anyone has any interest or ideas send me a pm, I'll check my account a little more often. I looked up husky rescue, but most of them aren't taking any more dogs. And think about what would happen to your animals if you died, I know I've specified what happens to mine. You don't have to have it in your will, just on a paper with your will, signed and dated and the person in charge should have a copy. Not to be morbid but I love my animals and I want to know they will be cared for.
