- And if it is a woman, and she is grateful for your intervention, you may find yourself in jail or at least subjected to an assault lawsuit by the person bothering her.
- The assailant is not only black, he appears to have cleavage - that makes him (?) a doubly protected person and interfering with him (her?) will get you federal charges. You will at least be accused of a hate crime and targeted by the media, putting not only you in danger but your family as well.
So you can't really blame NYers for standing around vidding instead of helping. They have been socially trained to do just that.
