Let us note that Harry Styles is British and lives in London and LA and NYC. He has no ties to Texas in any way, not even a small teeny tiny way. The vast majority of his fans have nothing to do with Texas.

I'm curious how much the Beto team paid him for that stunt, and if they're really so out of touch that they think Texas voters will give a damn what Harry Styles thinks?

The guy wears dresses. Hard to take him seriously.

About as much as the Brits care about your average Texan's opinion on the royals I suppose.

Harry. Not sure about Beto.
Had to look.
Is this close enough?

The difference being, of course, that no news outlet is reporting on Texans who are supporters of the Royal family. Nor can we who are mesmerized by the reality show that is Harry and Meghan influence their election to public office.

I don't see the deal with Beto except he somehow has good press. To me, you kind of need to have accomplishments to get my vote. Lately, on either side, it doesn't seem to count for much.

But -

Looking back at Beto's terms in Congress, I observed THIS - the "reddening of Texas".

This was Texas in 1978 -

and twenty years later, in 1998 -

and just two years ago, in 2020 -

Question - what happened? Texas has kind of always been Texas. What made the voters choose more Republicans for their Congress over that period? Remember, statewide, they've voted Republican for President since 1980, despite Clinton or Obama. Or Biden.

The democratic party changed. They went uber progressive. They went hard left, then they put the pedal to the floor.

People don't care about bathrooms & picking your gender. They want law & order, a good economy and the government to stay out of their daily life.

Well it's easy to assume that Harry is queer.
And it's that birds of a feather thing.
But Willie Nelson endorsed Beto too and I don't think Willie flies that way, but Willie is a lefty and smokes a lot of whackie Weed.
