I don't see the deal with Beto except he somehow has good press. To me, you kind of need to have accomplishments to get my vote. Lately, on either side, it doesn't seem to count for much.
But -
Looking back at Beto's terms in Congress, I observed THIS - the "reddening of Texas".
This was Texas in 1978 -
and twenty years later, in 1998 -
and just two years ago, in 2020 -
Question - what happened? Texas has kind of always been Texas. What made the voters choose more Republicans for their Congress over that period? Remember, statewide, they've voted Republican for President since 1980, despite Clinton or Obama. Or Biden.
