Independent Lens

Fubar

Look my ass glows!
Tonight was the premiere of this film on the PBS series-and what a doozy!

Airing weekly on PBS, the Emmy award-winning series Independent Lens is like an independent film festival in your living room. Each episode introduces new documentaries and dramas made by independent thinkers: filmmakers who are taking creative risks, calling their own shots and finding untold stories in unexpected places.

"Muskrat Lovely"
Every year, the residents of Dorchester County, Maryland look forward to the biggest weekend of the year: The National Outdoor Show. On the same stage as the muskrat-skinning contest, high school girls compete to win the title of queen of the show. This portrait of a close-knit Chesapeake Bay community traces the events leading up to the 50th crowning of Miss Outdoors.

The next airing will be November 1, 10PM on MPT-YOU have got to watch it!
