Mother Of FedEx Shooting Suspect Reported Him To Law Enforcement Last Year, Says FBI

The mother reported the suspect, whose name has been withheld per Daily Wire policy, to law enforcement in March 2020 out of concern that he might try to commit “suicide by cop,” FBI special agent for Indianapolis Paul Keenan said in a statement Friday.

“The suspect was placed on immediate detention mental health temporary hold by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department,” Keenan said of the 2020 incident with the suspect. “A shotgun was seized at his residence. Based on items observed in the suspect’s bedroom at that time, he was interviewed by the FBI in April 2020.”

Keenan said that “no criminal violation was found,” and the suspect didn’t indicate support for any racially motivated ideological extremism while he was under assessment. The shotgun wasn’t returned.

Law enforcement officials have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, which according to FedEx, killed eight employees of the company. Five others were hospitalized, including one person who was critical, but expected to survive, according to the Associated Press.

Why red flag law didn’t stop Fedex shooter Brandon Hole from obtaining rifles

But Brandon Hole — the 19-year-old behind Thursday’s bloodbath at the FedEx facility he used to work at in Indianapolis — was apparently never the subject of such a hearing, even though he had been involved in a weapons case amid mental issues that involved the FBI last year, according to records.

On March 3, 2020, Hole had a brand-new shotgun taken away from him when his mom called 911 saying he expressed a desire to commit suicide by cop, the Indy Star reported.

A police record for the incident states that cops seized a shotgun from a “dangerous person” and that Hole was taken into custody for an immediate mental-health hold, the outlet reported.

Under the state’s “red flag law,” cops are supposed to file an affidavit with the court when a firearm is taken, explaining why the person who had it is dangerous, according to instructions issued by the Indiana State Police.

If you all remember in the past when these mass shootings happened it was because of Trump, and how people acted because of how he was running the country. Now why can't these be blamed on how Biden is running the country.
