Green flag is moments away, the race is live on ESPNHD.
Damn good crowd here at Maryland International Raceway considering we're fighting IRL at Richmond and the weather and the economy.

Don't expect a race there next year.I was there!
Several Richmond "first timers" in the field and it showed. What a crash fest, only half the field left at the end of the race.
Brian Barnhart is not a happy camper about that race.
That's for Scott Dixon pretty much saying Danica should roll over and play dead. That's for Helio pretty much saying Danica should always have to be the one to lift.It never ceases to amaze me how much the media and the
s they have driving these cars have a double standard. It's okay for Dan Wheldon to race hard, it's okay for Marco Andretti to cause crashes, but it's not okay for Danica Patrick to stay in her line and pass somebody. 
Nobody in drag racing would act like this. When Ashley Force beats 'em, they take it like a man in move on.
These IRL drivers have been acting like little girls about everything. It's funny because Danica's the little girl in the field and she acts like more of a man than half these other drivers do.

So was my daughter... it was her first live race and she loved it! when it was over she txt'd us proudly proclaiming 26 cars started the race and only 12 made it to the finish.
Good for her, I guess Moma stayed home?

Unsure of who "Brian Barnhart" is, but it would be a shame not to continue the race. Great format for IRL! The crowds however are no where near the size of a NASCAR race @ Richmond...

IRL has Iowa, and they'd be idiotic not to tap into the NYC market with a race at NJMP.
IndyCar is meant to be raced at tracks like Michigan and AutoClub. Too bad they race at neither, anymore. ACS was built for open wheel racing, and instead we get the Sprint Cup California
500 each year.Barnhart is the dictator at IRL, btw. They call him "the iron hand of justice" over there. And he's good at what he does.

Brian basically runs the series, I think he is president of operations or something along those lines. Alot of those tickets, they give away for the irl race at richmond. For instance, my friend smokes, and marlboro sends him 2 free tickets every year. Those cars fly around that track, i think its a descent track for the series, but the series in whole just sucks right now.

Their cautions are effing ridiculous, ten laps each. This is looking like the IRL of old - back when I lost interest in it all together.
