Infant cold medicines pulled for overdose risk

I read that this morning and some of them are things that I have given my son.

But I also read that it is the OD that they are worried about. Maybe the moms out there that snort crack off their kids stomach and let them drown in the bathtub while they do some online shopping aren't too smart about giving the kid meds either.

Even though my oldest is 14, and I've given medicine many times, I still read the dose on the bottle each and every time. Most of us are responsible parents. They are just doing it because of recent lawsuits.

some moms joke around, "give him some cough syrup or cold medicine, that'll put him to sleep!"....not funny if the kid doesn't wake up

The infant medicine doesn't have any ingredients in it that will make them drowsy.

In My Opinion
If they are foolish enough to OD their infant, dont you think they will be foolish enough to give the infant an adult type medication?
