The House votes to hold Mark Meadows in contempt, sending a criminal referral to DOJ

“How we address Jan. 6 is the moral test of our generation,” the panel’s ranking Republican, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said in floor debate. “It is very sad to see how my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are addressing this issue. Mr. Meadows has refused to testify about non-privileged material, he is contempt.”

She claimed to be and acted like a conservative.....right up until the second Donald J. Trump won the 2016 Presidential primary.

He sure brought the roaches out of the woodwork, didn't he? That's why all a Republican politician has to do to earn my disgust is rail against Trump. It's not so much my loyalty or whatever to Trump; it's what it reveals about the person railing.

Is she talking about Republican resistance to the suspension of the constitutional rights of the accused, including the right to representation, a fair and speedy trial, and other insignificant (to the demonrats) details like that?

Here's the thing: if the January 6th political prisoners were real criminals, particularly if they were the left's pet minority, they'd have been released already.
