Went there 3 years ago and didn't like the cut and they didn't seem very nice. No chit chat just talked around me. Never been again.

I worked there for about a year. Ingrid is very good, but not the most chit chatty person to be around. The other ladies used to only be there part time, and never really impressed me.

Across from Wentworths. Does anyone go there? Who cuts your hair?

I like Shear Image in Mech...across from Copseys Seafood. I go to Karen because she's always up-to-date on her skills and KNOWS how to use the razor or the razor cut! Good colorists too! Everyone there is always so nice and friendly! :howdy:

Thanks for posting. I had been going to The Hair Company in Leonardtown but the prices there have just gotten out of control, last month it was $45.00 for a cut WITHOUT blowdry. I went to Ingrid today and she gave me a GREAT cut and blowdry for $22.00!!!!!!! The woman in the waiting area told me she has had customers for 25 years, I can see why, I will be a new customer!

Are they open on weekends? Is it by appointment only?

I think the shop is closed on wednesday. I know she is there on saturdays and several evenings. Call the shop and ask. Ingrid is wonderful!

Well I'm looking again for someone in the area. I got 3 good haircuts from Ingid...but then she just cut my hair hoe SHE thought it should be cut with my back to the mirror. Went for a TRIM and lost about 3 inches of hair. The average age of Ingid's customers must be about 65 and I think she just gives everyone the "Ingid cut". I'm letting it all grow out some then find somebody. My last cut made me look like Mrs. Brady from the Brady bunch. I'm not sure anyone under the age of 40 would be happy getting a cut there.

I'm new to the area and have been asking around about haircuts. I prefer to have my hair cut with a razor, every other time. Several people have recommended a Japanese stylist named Yumi (pronounced U-ME). She is at Artistic Images in Charlotte Hall. Also gives a great cut with shears I'm told.

hehehehehe ... :lmao:

I live in Golden Beach and decided to give her a try. Big mistake. She had me shampooed before sitting in her chair. She then says "What are we doing today?". I told her I wanted something new and what did she think. She says.."Well if you don't know how you want your hair cut, how should I know?" She looks around the shop at all of her other ladies and they all start laughing. I was a walk in and she took me. There were 4 other women waiting. I thought there was another stylist but no it was only her. She charged me 40 dollars. Also...I watched the shampoo girl fill Redken bottles with Pantene shampoo in the back. I won't be back.
