Coming back from Blue Ridge Saturday, we encountered an aggressive biker group (gang?). We were traveling in the far left lane (not HOV), 75 southbound, just before getting into the mess that is Atlanta traffic on any given day. 50-60 bikers came up on our right, then started trying to get left. Instead of moving left in a safe manner, they decided that they needed to move left as one entity, instead of the 50-60 individual vehicles. Several of the bikers squeezed into the far left lane, then slowed down to about 40 mph, so the rest of the group could jump in front of them. When they had all made their move left, about a third of them threw up the "black power" fist. A few seconds later, somebody crashed and burned in front of a car. As we maneuvered past them, we weren't in a position to tell what had happened, other than it involved a car. People who were right there when it happened, didn't seem to care, and just wanted to get past them, as did we. I think they had pretty much pissed everyone off and no one cared if the jerk perished or pissed. I wonder if anyone called 911. Meh, probably not.
