Interesting ballot initiative

South Dakota is voting on Amendment E that makes special grand juries to hold judges accountable for bad rulings.

I ran across this reading about Justice O'Connor, she doesn't like it, but I might.

me too...

I wish the judicial system as a whole could be like a flat tax - something so simple we wouldn't need lawyers (or accountants) to translate for us... just a good old pair of American shi*kickers to determine justice...

I wonder if Montana is interested in seceding on a new political platform...hmmm...

On face value it sounds great but in a liberal state like Maryland it might be bad news. Palumbo (gasoline/domestic violence) would have been out on his ear early on and that is good but it could hurt the reasonable conservative judges. Get a Grand Jury full of downtown Baltimorons and there won't be any justice.
