Interesting Phone Call

So on Saturday I get a call and it went something like this:

Me: "Helloo?"
guy on other end: "This is SoandSo from the Washington DC District attorneys office and i need to speak to you."
Me: "I sorry, who are you looking for?"
guy on other end: "I'm looking for you"
Me: "And who exactly would that be?"
guy on other end: "You don't know your own name?"
Me: "I'm sorry I'm going to have to let you go."

It was an 874.xxx.xxx number. I deleted the number before hitting the web to see if there was any info on that number.

Me: Hello?

USSS: Hi Mr. xxxxx, this is agent xxxx with the USSS. A buttmunch with user name Kerad who posts on the same board you do reported you for threatening a candidate and we have to investigate.

Me: ...er....a..... ummmm... I'm sorry. :mybeststraightvoice: How can I help you?

USSS: I know sir and I do apologize but we have to follow up even though some folks need a life. Now we see where you had a lot of fun at his expense. Don't you feel remorseful for that? :snicker:

Me. :choke:cough: Ummmm, yessir I do........ ....BWUAUAUAUUAUAA ..... ok, no I don't. He's just an easy target and I was having a blast that night.

USSS: Well sir you have a good night and try to take it easy on the guy ok?

Me: Ummmm..... sure, I'll try. Sorry some bozo caused you this trouble. Have a nice night.

USSS: It's ok. He's one of many bozo's. Good night. :click:

I put in a phone number that called me and I got Digital Design.

I put in my work phone number and I got Digital Design. I don't work at Digital Design.

Maybe you have to pay to get an accurate result, but who wants to pay for that service?
