Interner copyright?

I created an image for use as a banner and seal for an online MMORPG I play. I'm excited to have the chance to have it made in to merchandise that people can buy, like t-shirts and mouse pads.

It's actually a Photoshop of a couple of things I found online.. I've looked for copyright info on these images but found nothing so, does that mean that I'm free to use my new image freely? And, since I've altered the images and masked them together in to a new image, does that mean that the new image is not bound by any existing copyright? That is to say, unless an existing one specifically states that no part or likeness of said image can be reproduced or altered for personal use.

I'm not going to make any money from this, I just want the picture on a t-shirt and it would be cool of someone else were wearing one as well Here's the pic I made that I'm about to edit for suitability.

This is some of the crap I write in the game, just to give you an idea of the kind of role playing it is... I'm a recruiter and its my job to point players in the right direction.

The landscape is constantly changing and one can find themselves a bit lost and at a loss for lack of direction. I bid thee take care to work your magic with strategy and confidence so not to alarm vampires from other covens of your presence too quickly. Speed is key, if you can manage to get VIP status it will boost your incoming turns and give you more to work with. That's the most important thing you can do, become faster, then tougher and then stronger.
Second, keep busy with your quests and achievements lists. Our coven has a list of everything with the corresponding actions required in the forum. Once you work up your stats and make enough kills to reach level 10. You may want to begin compiling an enemies list for easy access to vampires you can kill. I started with vamps ranked 5 or higher and weeded them out as I grew. Now my enemy list has vamps ranked as high as level 32 and I`m a weak level 25 for someone my age. I moved too quickly and played frivolously. It didn`t really hurt me, but once I got here I became bored and left for a while. Feel free to ask me anything, I am at your disposal.
