When I start my computer it detects and connects to an open wireless signal.
But when I launch Internet Explorer it wants to connect using my dial up.
I have gone into internet options, but have yet to figure it out.
I do not want to delete Net Zero. I would like to keep that as a back up, if wireless signal is down.

Any suggestions?

Under options/connections can't you just check the one that says never dial a connection or dial when none is present??

Didja hear where our fearless leaders in Annapolis want to make it illegal to pirate wireless internet signals?

The Attorney Generals office totally opposes this legislation because how in the world can you detect then prove that your wireless signal was hijacked from Fourbucks Coffee?

Ah, good ole NetZero...

Open IE
Tools
Internet Options
Connections
Never Dial A Connection
Reboot

Now, IF NetZero still tries to dial...

Open IE
Tools
Internet Options
Connections
Lan Settings
Make sure Use A Proxy Server... isn't checked.
Reboot

If that doesn't work - let me know.
