Internet Help!!!

I am using BF's laptop. Every time I click to go to another page or in this case, my User CP,it opens a new window. It just started doing this. Just like the damn keyboard was stuck on Caps Lock eventhough I unclicked it and the light was off. It now, mysteriously works. WTF?

P.S. I now have 5 windows open after trying to check a PM.

Just like recommended....virus scan. But something else I am wondering, at any time was something spilled on the computer? There may be something under the keys that you aren't aware of. I know from personal experience that Coke and milk play havoc on computers. haha. Though I expect any liquids would have the same effect. Of course, if it is water...at least that dries and isn't sticky. Best of luck.

It almost sounds like you have a function button pressed. That might explain not being able to type numbers.

if this is a laptop it sounds like the nump lock is on which ture 1/2 the keybaord into the numberpad

Got me. All I had to do was reboot and it worked just fine.
