Who has service in Great Mills (Victoria's Grant)?

I called to have my Verizon DSL transfered to our new house & they told me it isn't available in our area. I would prefer DSL but I guess if I have to I will get a cable ISP.

Yeah, I know. We're in Great Mills (just south of the Chancellor's Run Park) and all we could get was cable. But it seems to do okay. Can only have 1 computer actually on the cable; any others must use the router thingy.

Dunno if you can use a satellite dish to get the 'Net?

And Verizon is supposed to be coming soon, I hear.

I too am on Chancellor's Run and I had to go with "Metrocrap." Their Internet service isn't so bad. My only complaint is that you can't pay your bill online.

Verizon has been saying DSL is "coming soon" for the past 2 years.

Hey neighbor *waves* Just down the road from you - Villas at Greenview. I have Metrocast as well and this month I was able to pay my cable/net bill online at metrocast.com. First time I've been able to do so since we moved here in Dec.

Hmmm... I'll have to check and see if I can pay online next month. I didn't even try it this month. The disappointment was just getting to be too much. *dramatic sigh* Thanks for the heads up!
