iphone 3G - anyone else waiting?

I was crazy enough to wait in line at the AT&T in Waldorf last Friday. Even though I was 7th in line I walked away with a "direct fulfillment order". I still don't have my phone, as it's listed under "back ordered" on the tracking site. Anyone else waiting?

We ordered the Voyager.. BG has had trouble with her current touch screen with no work around.. The voyager has the fully capable touch screen, but opens up to a full QWERTY keyboard so you can bypass the touchscreen if you have to.

AT&T doesn't work here, but I wouldn't buy into the Apple hype anyways. Many phones out there just as capable without the big price tag.

I have the Voyager too, I really like the keyboard that it has. It comes in handy when my kids insist on texting me! :lmao:

The MAIN reason for the Dare is the camera resolution.

they just figure technology would be wasted on people from Lusby.. save them for people what will be capable of actually using them.

Unless you are blowing your pictures up.. like 11 X 14 pictures from your camera, you aren't going to see a difference.

A 5X7 at 2.0 or 3.2, don't think you'll be able to tell, and the things that count they don't advertise, just give you a number to make your choice with.

Yanno, like contrast, color saturation... things like that.

But cell phones are definitely personal choice. Color of the face plate maybe the biggest deciding factor to some.

Ended up waiting in line 5 hours at the Apple Store in Annapolis on Friday the 11th but I left with the white version. Couldn't be happier....just a nagging issue with some text message not making it since I ported my number from verizon.

BTW, to the comment about Iphone 3G being over priced, the 8GB version is the same price as your precious Dare ($199) oh but that's right the Dare doesn't even come with a 8GB microSD card.

The Iphone sucks. It isn;t even capable of sending or recieving picture messages. It is probably the only phone that can;t do this.

As a gadget geek the Iphone is the best phone out.

Don't spread false information. The Iphone is totally capable of sending picture messages.

All you have to is use the email function. Attach it to an email and send it to whomever you like.
