Okay, what are the best external speakers to get for an iPod? I'm also looking at external speakers for a PSP. There are too many options, and it's confusing me.

We have the JBL Creature speakers for our iPods. They are awesome!!!

I'm happy with my iHome. I keep it in the kitchen which works because I have a stereo in all the other rooms of the house where I might want to listen to music.

Sure, I'm gonna run right out and buy some Bose 901's for my kids. I guess I should have prefaced my post with the fact the speakers are for a 9 year old and a 15 year old.

BTW, when we ever get around to gutting the basement and setting up a real home theater we'll be in need of Day's expertise.

Big Lots is selling docking stations/clock/speakers (I honestly don't know what it's called). The one I got a glimpse of was for an ipod shuffle. Nonetheless, it was only $20.
