Ran across my old IPod, charged it up, and

ALL THE MUSIC IS GONE!!!

I know they are not up to the minute technology, but would save my phone battery if I could play it out in the garden. Need to spend some time figuring out how to get music back on it.

I use my iPod in my car and while doing yard work. If you have access to your iTunes you can reload them. I still buy songs from iTunes for mine. I don't want +2,000 songs on my phone.

Looking for help: I have a LOT of CDs from when my cars had CD players in them. Newer cars no longer play CDs but I'd love to have that music to listen to. Someone told me I can upload the CDs to Itunes and then either put on an ipod or other music device or stream from my phone through the car sound system. Is this possible? Is there a better way to be able to listen to my CDs without a CD player?

Yes - just insert the CD into your computer and iTunes will ask if you would like to load the songs to your computer. At least that's the way I remember it happening 12 or so years ago when I put all of our CDs on iTunes. Once on your computer, you can create playlists and put those playlists on your iPhone or iPod.
