BELFAST, Northern Ireland -- The IRA has announced that it will resume disarmament and that it has ordered its members to end its armed campaign.
The order took effect at 1500 GMT on Thursday.
But the IRA, which has observed a cease-fire since 1997, did not say it would formally disband.
Pretty cool. I guess they don't want to get mixed up with all that's going on.
