"Iraq's president has endorsed the execution of Saddam's cousin 'Chemical Ali' who has been sentenced to death on genocide charges.

"The presidency has approved Chemical Ali's execution," a top Iraqi official told AFP on condition of anonymity on Friday, adding the timing of the actual execution is still not decided."
