There was a picture of 4 Irish Wolfhounds in yesterday's Washington Post. They participated in the District's St Patricks Day Parade. It said they were from the "Potomac Valley Irish Wolfhound Club"

Yeah I saw that. I went to their website a few weeks ago and it had not been updated in about 4 months. Have not checked recently though. I am looking for someone closer to home. In St Marys or Calvert County possibly.

good luck... I have only seen 2 Irish Wolfhounds in the area and they were not purchased from around here. They were show dogs.

... sometimes we have to travel to get the type of dog we want.... heck... I went to South Carolina to adopt the one Bloodhound and to North Carolina to the breeder I picked. ..... Have you looked at Petfinder?

My friend just got one at the begining of the year... I just found out!!! LOL
Ran into and the pup yesterday at the store.. he is only 4 months old and TOWERS over my GSD in height. He was so cute!!!! She and her Hubby did MONTHS of research on breeders ... and even tried to find the one in VA but couldnt ..... =( They went with on in TN near where her mom lives.... She is going to email me the info!
