Don't know if there are any vegetarians out there, however I need to keep my iron intake up with/without popping extra pills every day. What are some foods that have worked for you? And does Vit C help with the absorption of the iron?
Vitamin C is VERY important in the absorption of Iron.....

Floradix Iron and Herbs, completely vegan and safe for pregnant women to take. It doesn't taste gross either. Pick it up at any natural foods store in your area.

Spinach citrus salad is
mix to taste:
baby spinach
mandarin oranges drained (if canned) reserve some for dressing
red onion slices
cucumbers (optional)
for the dressing....
whisk or "Magic Bullet" together (again to taste)
evoo
few segments of mandarin oranges
garlic
celtic sea salt & pepper
lil bit of powdered mustard seed (or dijon mustard if you don't have the powder
Pour over veggies, sprinkle with sliced almonds and enjoy!
