Turbo charged cars usually require high test gas
Allow the car to idle for a minute before you shut it off so the turbo can slow down before the oil gets turned off

My old GTI would get around 27 mpg at 14psi. I installed a turbo timer on it. It's not about oil flow, but cooling down so the oil that is left in it doesn't get burned up. My Passat which is stock averages 32 mpg.

My mk4 Jetta got 30+ when I kept my foot out of it. It's not the same, but the turbo, used correctly lets you use the gas LESS than you would in an n/a motor.
