Nope not a single snicker. Dad wouldn't have laughed either, he doesn't think highly of lawyers as he prefers old-style justice.

It's not the lawyer part...

...it's the FRENCH lawyer representing Saddam while the French didn't wanna oust him because he was buying them all off...so, I figured, 'apropros' (thank you Mrs. Jazz) French, Hussein, legal rep, kinda like Bill Clinton representing Marion Barry in an abuse of office suit...HA! HAA!!!...Get it???....ha....ha....urhh...

Crap Larry, it was a given that the lead lawyer would be French. I suspect that there will also be additional members on that defense team from Germany and Russia. Who else would have "de' gall"?

I've been having vivid thoughts of unusual death sentencing for Saddam after reading the article. I hope "drawn and quartered" is still a probable choice...

I guess it's impossible...

...to discuss Iraq sans politics but it is simply beyond anything I've experienced in terms of absolutely ignoring reality when people argue that we are suppossed to have French approval.

#1 it's absurd.

#2 they are so clearly corrupt, excuse moi, conflicted of interest, when it come to Iraq it is simply not possible to keep up this charade through seven more months.
