:bawl: Boys this is confuzzalting.

Geek: So that the entire Federal government and contractors aren't away from work EVERY Friday, some take one Friday off, some take the next Friday. Some people even choose to take a Monday or Tuesday or Wed. or Thursday as their CWS Day, I believe.

Which was the whole original reason for CWS to being with, to be able to shut down to save power.... That didn't last too long...

The 18th is the "traditional" CWS day off, meaning most will take that day as opposed to the following Friday.

I really miss having CWS days....

People tend to take the first Friday in a pay period as their CWS. If they wait until the second Friday, then can't take it for some reason, they don't get one that pay period. Our office used to make certain there was always someone to cover the office, so approximately half the office took the first Friday and half took the second.
