Is Birdie's price gouging?

Couldn't help but notice that as the price of gas at the pump has been slowly declining down to below $3 per gallon, the price at the Birdie's stations seem to be holding steady at $3.30/gallon. It hasn't seemed to deter people from filling up at their stations however, why the rather large disparity? Seems like price gouging.

UP and down 235 between Rte 4 and Gate 3 the gas is at $3/gallon or below. Birdie's at Hollywood/Leonardtown Rd and in Leonardtown are at $3.30/gallon.

If you shut ins EVER left the house instead of fighting with strangers online you’d know that gas is below $3!

Oh, but FOX News didn’t tell me 😭

It’s $2.97 at the Wawa at rt 4 and 235

Get out and get some air
Damn, you're cranky this morning.

Did your regular crack dealer not meet you on time?

Was $3.15 at the Callaway Shell the other day. I buy ethanol gas so seldom that I don't pay much attention to the price. I probably use more gas in my boats than vehicles, since I walk to work, and I only buy non-ethanol for the boats.

Haven't seen any place where gas is below 3 bucks. My weekly driving however pretty much sticks with 235, Leonardtown and occasional forays into Lexington Park --

But it's first rate stupid to drive twenty miles out of my way to save 10 cents on gas.

What about driving 5 miles to save $0.30/gallon?
My point is that I have never seen such a difference in pricing within such a small distance. How are they able to charge so much per gallon without it being gouging?

I have plenty of crack to smoke, that’s not the issue.

It’s annoying to see threads like this, the poster is accusing Berdies of price gouging and the first response is, “wait gas isn’t below $3!”

Been a couple weeks for me too, but getting close to the election, it was bound to come down.

They're probably draining sludge off the bottom of the SPRs by now, trying to lower the price for Kameltoe.
OR gas always falls after Labor Day due to the reformulation changes and reduction in demand. Add to that a collapse of oil prices because of a recession in China and Europe

Oh, but it’s totally Biden doing it.

The first response was NOT “wait gas isn’t below $3!”

It was "Where are you getting gas for under $3?"

You really need to take a remedial reading course and improve yourself.

It's not gouging if there are convenient alternatives - it's just overpricing. Price gouging means they're the only game in town and they inflate prices because you don't have any choice but to buy.

It's like on the Flintstones when Fred is organizing the Loyal Water Buffalo Lodge party and Pebbles' birthday party at the same time. He goes to the caterer, who goofs up and sends dancing girls and cactus juice to Pebbles' party and Rocko the Clown to the Lodge. When Fred complains the caterer blows him off with basically too bad, whattaya gonna do, "I'm the only caterer in town."

Like that.....

Thursday is 5 (maybe 10) cent discount day at Callaway Shell. Monday is 10 cent discount day for diesel.
Good point. Some stations have "discount days" however, Wawa, Sheetz, and the HT station were all at $3 or below today. None of those have discount days. Birdie's stations were at $3.30 or $3.29.
