Is Craven right about Johnson?

Ricky Craven, whose retirement was hastened by vision problems among other health issues, has speculated that Johnson may be suffering a problem with his vision, particularly depth perception. Johnson argued his accident in the Clash was a racing incident, while running into Kyle Busch for no apparent reason was an error in judgment.

Well yeah, if you can't tell how close an object is, it only stands to reason it would affect your judgment.

Pure speculation. Sounds like Craven is projecting his issues onto Jimmie.
No way of knowing for sure unless Jimmie confirms it. If there is any truth to it, I'm sure he would seek a qualified doctor to diagnose it immediately. Jimmie is very health conscious and a devoted family man, so I seriously doubt that he would take something like that lightly.
