To give a cat a bath?.....without getting ripped to shreds?

There were two instances I can remember where my cat got something remotely resembling a bath.

Once, she fell into the aquarium I once had; up to her shoulders. The other time, I put about three inches of water in the tub to keep her from using it as a litter box. When she hit the water, it was like she had received an electric shock; but it was funny.

Nice warm water and wrap her up in a towel with all for claws tucked in and then put her in.

Yes, but you never get the taste out of your mouth.

Wow....beautiful/handsome-schmandsome. Girls or boys I know.....that don't matter; it's the breed. My cat is a Tab so she has a pronounced/vice flat/Persian face. No matter.

Lure 'em into the washing machine with 'Pounce', close and sit on the lid, turn the knob. BAM clean cat, no scratches.

Just shave it, then you can use KFC wetnaps! :)

I actually did shave a small spot on her back once. She got jabbed by a claw on her lower back once and it got infected and nasty, so I had to use electric trimmers to cut her coat back in that one spot to get to the wound; poured a little peroxide on it. She wasn't thrilled; but the infected sore went away.
