Is it possible to talk to Atlantic Broadband?

So i've been spending at least an hour a day on hold for the last four business days trying to get customer support at ABB.
I want to cancel my old package and get just internet.
There is no way to do this on-line that I can find, there is no way to view your current subscriptions, all you can see is your bill. (which is nuts)
Everything funnels you to customer service phone number.
Then infinite hold.

If drive to to the local office can I make the changes there?

I wonder what number you are calling. I called last Friday to have a tech come out, and I had no wait at all on phone or service.

Just choose the option for "New or Add to existing service"... that line always gets priority if they can take more money - then flip it and tell them you want to cancel everything but internet.

I've had fast service in the past with tech support as well. The add/remove stuff is a different kettle of fish.

Go to the office, kick in the door, come across the counter and DEMAND that they fix your problem. :boxing:

I've never actually tried this, but I've fantasized about it more than once. So if you take my advice, have someone vid it so I can watch.

If they do it right it'll make the evening news. :yay:

Stop payments. If on autopay, stop autopay, or better yet tell your credit card company your card was stolen. They'll then issue you a new card with a different number. When attempting to bill you again, it won't process, prompting emails and or phone calls, or an email with an appropriate number to call. This actually really does work. Since they ostensibly don't want to loose you as a customer, or your money, they will initiate contact. Give it a try.

My internet was down and I was trying to call support and after 30 minutes the phone line would disconnect. Happened twice. All while being force-fed the most obnoxious advertisements.

Wish they had a way to block calls through their internet phone service. There's always at least a dozen spam calls coming through every day. I'd dump the land line but that's the only one my older relatives will call.

You could do what everyone else does when they cancel a phone, transfer the number. Then those relatives won't even know they are calling you on one of them newfangled cellular telephonic devices..

There's a thought. I guess it would work until my number gets recycled.

Don't even bother with the phones. Just gather up all your equipment and cancel in person at the office.
