Ended up eating breakfast at Flour Donuts and Bakery on Washington this morning and sat in the window looking out at all the places you could see from there. On the corner of Fenwick and Washington was the building marked Dukes and beneath it Coffee Food Bar...something like that and beneath that Social, like the same name as Social, the little coffee house on Fenwick. Are they moving to a bigger place does anyone know? That would be kinda cool, parking sucks at their old place.
On another note, Flour Donuts and Bakery had delicious bagels. Not quite New York quality but still decent and their baked goods looked amazing as did their lunch menu. On the list for lunch as well as The Local, stopped there on the way back just to check out the place and pick up a menu. The place was packed, nearly all tables filled and only two or three seats at the bar. A server walked by with what looked like hot beef slices with melted cheese artfully arranged into something that looked like @my-thyme food porn pictures. You know delicious looking.
Leonardtown on Washington Street has a really nice small town feel to it. Nice way to spend a Friday morning.
