You don't. It spins one way, then if you pause and restart, it spins the other way.

Several of the microwave ovens that I have had thru the years have changed rotation every time the magnetron cycles on and off.

It’s an ac synchronous motor, they can rotate cw or ccw depending on where the rotor is in relation to the permanent magnet. If you want it to go the other direction turn it off and on and it’s going to change direction if the vector relationship between the rotor and the magnet has changed. The only constant is that it’s going to turn at 60 rpm at the o/p shaft.

Clockwise is the only correct microwave rotation. This need congressional investigation. Cannot let something like this fester or next thing thing you know, people are installing toilet paper rolls backwards.
