Is Water-Based PU Leather a Good Choice for Medical Mattresses?

Hey everyone, I’m considering medical mattresses made with water-based PU leather and have some questions. Does this material provide the same level of durability and hygiene as traditional options?
I’m curious about how it handles daily sanitization and whether it resists cracking or peeling over time. Is it comfortable for patients, especially those who need extended bed rest?
If anyone has experience with water-based PU leather in healthcare settings, I’d appreciate your insights.

PU leather in any use is only temporary before it starts peeling.
