Isla Mujeres, Mexico

Gahhhh I just booked our flights for November (1st-10th), sooo excited! Anyone ever been to Isla? My parents go every year, they LOVE Mexico. I've been to Cancun a couple times and to Cozumel a few times but never to Isla....I'm so excited! Can you tell? Funny thing though, we haven't booked a place yet  we're going to stay at Ixchel Condominiums or we'll rent a house on the south end. Any suggestion on where? Assuming you've been or feel like searching for me

I was there 2 weeks ago. We took the catamaran from Turtle Beach over for the day. Stuck to the tourist town area mostly so I'm not sure what the rest of the island is like.

Really? Awesome! I think the condos my Mom mentioned are at the North end or she said we might rent a house at the South end. I'm not sure where the "tourist town" is...North, South, somewhere in the middle  Anything you recommend we do while we're there? I'm so excited! My little guy will be 9 months old when we go

Theres a spot toward the south end of the island where we took a picture with a nurse shark. Other than that, we walked around the town at the north part where all the fast shuttle boats dock. Same junk there as on the mainland. I do remember hearing they have a zipline setup somewhere, but we didnt get to that.

I saw pictures of the zipline online, not sure where it is either though. I just google/image searched Isla Mujeres...might have to look into that, sounds fun! So you've been to the South and North, did either seem 'nicer'...to stay/rent? Surely we'll tour the island, just wondering about our stay.
