Isn't there...

...some sort of motorized/electric version of the Swiffer Wet Jet/Clorox Ready Mop out there?? I swear I saw something advertised, but can't remember the name. I must have one immediately, if in fact, it even exists. :lmao:

I do believe you are speaking the the Bissel Floor mate. I own one and LOVE IT! It is easy to fill and empty. It does the scrubbing and sucks up the dirty water so that you aren't pushing it all about as you would with any other kind of mop or such. It is the 'perfect' floor cleaner... I'm really surprised you don't have one already...

Yeah, we definitely need that. Remember how much it was? Can I add any sort of solution so that I can do hardwood, and then the linoleum? We have that big 'sea' of linoleum downstairs and it's so hard to clean. It also takes forever b/c we have to change the pad on the Ready-Mop several times before finishing.

It should be right around $100... I don't recall for sure what the going price is right now. It should come with a sample bottle of solution for linoleum and a sample bottle of solution for hardwood floors. You should be able to find full size bottles of each product next to the Floormate itself. It's a concentrate so the bottle goes pretty far. I really don't think you will regret the purchase at all.

I'm looking at doing the kitchen, dinning room, hall and living room, all hardwood. No more carpets. I've weighed the difference between real hardwood and the laminate, and the laminate comes out ahead. It takes more of a beating and keeps it's shine better than the real thing. If I get the cash ahead, I'm going to do it this summer.
