Currently, they say "Ring.. ring... ring..."What does the Maryland Home Improvement Commission say?
Are they an approved MHIC contractor?
OK, again, are they a MHIC approved contractor? Or are they a Gypsy Contractor? Because it matters.Currently, they say "Ring.. ring... ring..."
I'm tired of waiting. Just want info/recommendation for lawyer that handles these disputes.
Indeed it does.OK, again, are they a MHIC approved contractor? Or are they a Gypsy Contractor? Because it matters.
I saw a video where a lawyer said even a lawyer gets screwed by contractors and can't do much about it.
Absolutely not true in Maryland, its as simple as hiring only Certified Contractors that are members of MHIC. You have problems with one of them the State will step in. You hire a Gypsy contractor and you are on your own, The State Police will arrest gypsy contractors if they are made aware of them.POS contractors will wear you out trying to get satisfaction. Sue them? They have no money..Expect them to fix what they effed up?? They will just ignore ya and require you to go back to court. Hard nosed vetting prior to hiring anyone is required, and in alot of cases, you still get effed.
Feel free to post the name of those MHIC contractors that got over on folks that you know.Ahh, I see now, we're the government and we're here to help you...Sorry, have known too many people that have gotten hosed by certified contractors and spent way too much money chasing them.
