Baby Bubba took his first two steps this morning. He saw a small ball a short distance away from him and he gently took two steps to get to it. He did it again a few moments later, so he confirmed what my eyes had originally seen. He seemed so surprised at what he had done.

He turns 11 months old next week.

As cool as this is, I cannot tell you what a pain it is to chase a toddler. I couldn't wait until they could walk and then I wanted to break their little legs. :lmao:

We can take some photo's tonight, right before we put him into his velcro suit, the one that I made so that I can keep him in one spot for an entire evening!

Why do parents continue to make the same mistakes as previous generations? First you teach them to walk and they make you chase them all over then if life isnt bad enough, you then teach the little buggers to talk...and whats generally the first thing they learn to say better than mama.....NO. :huggy:

That's awesome! Gurls first steps were right after a week long hospital stay at 10 mos. She had puked on everything before going to the hospital, so when she came home everything had been washed and was sitting in laundry baskets in the living room. She saw her teddy bear on top of one of the baskets, let go of the coffee table and walked all the way across the living room to get it. It was totally cool.
