IT Interview Gone Wrong

Because sometimes, interviewing candidates is a tough job! Check out the incompetence of non-certified IT candidates seeking the same IT position within a company interviewing with an IT Hiring Manager. The hiring manager’s visibly mounting frustration vanishes when finally, a competent MCP arrives.

Oh Really. The real questions that should have been asked are
1)do you know how to develop an operating system that doesn't continually crash?
Answer: No!
2)In your opinion, is it ethical to charge for an upgraded operating system
that you designed and it crashes as in question 1?
Answer: Absolutely yea!
3)What does the "95" stand for in Windows 95?
Answer: The amount of minutes you are put on hold for Microsoft tech Support.

Excellent: You are hired!

I went for the Server Test ... at the end in review I change one answer .... and Failed the test by one question ... so was i failing by to ... or would I have passed by one ....... :otter:

I think the ended up extending the expiration by 12 more months for a total if 18 months .... but I was put off at that point and refused to spend anymore money .........

Worked for a large corp. years ago in Network Support. Would occasionally get a call that a VP or several other people in the building could not connect to the network. Upon examination they were receiving bizarre IP addresses from a DHCP server that was not part of our production network. Going in to investigation mode we tracked the culprit down to a relative new hire in the building who had just completed an MCSE boot camp and was just trying out some of his newly acquired skills by bringing up a DHCP server. Normally after asking them if they would like to go meet the VP who logged the calls they promised to never try that again except on a test network we would set up for them.

yeah Brand New MCSE's are dangerous ..... we had a support contract with a client who had a guy on site for the light lifting, and we would handle the hard stuff .... he took down the Production NT 4.0 Server, :smack: made excuses all day (to his boss about trying to get it back up) called us @ 1430 - on a friday, yelling we were not living up to our "Support Contract" .... I dispatched a tech, went upstairs got management involved ( this was over my pay grade a scheduler) ... management contacted on site dudes boss and the truth started to trickle out .... he had told them in the morning after the crash ... we were dragging our feet coming out ... :blahblah: if all finally came out a day or so later, what the on site dude had done ...

Almost identical to my wife's experience, except that just about the time she finished the course, they announced, and she said, screwit, not putting more money out for the test, or for 2000. I actually started the 2000 course, but went to work for the gov't instead. We don' need no stinking certifications!
