It is that time of year again..

It is the 136th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show!!

MONDAY: Feb 13:
The Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding group competition will be televised live on USA Network from 8-9 PM ET and continuing on CNBC from 9-11 PM ET.

Tuesday: Feb 14:
The Sporting, Working, Terrier, and Best In Show competition will be televised live on USA Network from 8-11 PM ET.

I went a few years ago with my sister and had a blast! We took the train up and stayed at a hotel few blocks from MSG - we wound up being able to move down a few rows with a handler we'd met and sat near someone whose dog had won best of group. It was so exciting and everyone was so friendly! Donald Trump was about 6 rows in front of us. (He was SO identifiable with that HAIR!)

Wish I had the vacation time to do it again this year - haven't missed watching on TV for years and years. But definitely worth doing in person at least once - being able to go backstage and seeing all the dogs up close was really a thrill - fun to see them getting groomed.
