Itchy allergy skin?

I seems to have found something to help.
We have a schnauzer with terrible allergies, he tore his hair out and was just working on being a mess. Two vets said allergies, Benadryl or steroids.

We found this stuff Dinovite, a food supplement, that is working very well. He's been on it since Feb, the end of March we saw some improvement, and now his coat is growing back, and in areas I didn't think it would the skin was so damaged. I've also noticed the odor he had is diminishing.

I will say you have to give it everyday for it to work and it does take awhile. The company suggests trying it for at least 90 days. He still does itch some but nearly as much as he did, specially for this time of year, and he might just do it to annoy me. Or out of habit. I wanted to make sure it was working before I posted about it, but I'm real pleased.

So you might want to check it out, the website is Dog Nutrition, Dog Supplements, Vitamins for Dogs or 859 428 1000

We used to put flax and fish oil in the food too. If you haven't already tried either, that might help you out too

My Granddog Skippy was practically chewing the pads off of his feet, and scratching ALL the time. He had allergy testing, and was found to be allergic to Wheat, Corn, rice, and something else I can't think of. He was getting allergy shots every three days, now he's just doing it every two weeks. He is happy, and no longer chewing. He eats Taste of the Wild Grain-Free. Right now, he is eating the Salmon formula. I get mine at Pepper's Pet Pantry in Solomons. My dogs eat it too, because Skippy visits a lot.

The hubby and I use diamond food (taste of the wild is an extension of it or the same company I believe.) also, if you use a applied dip or flea treatment, I would recommend switching to comfortis or trifexis as it is a pill rather then a chemical on the actual skin. We have aussies and merles especially seem to have problems with their skin. Also mixing raw food such as instinct seems to make a big difference... Sorry to hear about the allergies... Until we switched to diamond and trifexis my old aussie would chew herself to bald an bleeding on her rear :(
This is our aussie now, after being on the food and trifexis a year. Wish i had a before pic. She looked like she had mange her fur was super patchy itchy skin and fur just destroyed!
