It's Baking Season!

Last night I made a spinach and mushroom quiche, and a ham, cheese and mushroom quiche for dinner. They were

Yeah, it's that time of year. I've got a pot of chicken soup on the stove. Did a full-up (stovetop, not crockpot) pot roast a few days ago, and an apple crisp.

I made venison stew in the crockpot last week, we canned another bushel of apples Tuesday, and I made doggie cookies Wednesday. I had a lot more baking planned, but the government shutdown ended (Yay) and I'm back to work. It's definitely getting to be baking time for me too!!
