How about a Flag theme starting now and running through July 4th? Mr. X and JBR13 both got nice shots last weekend and the time is right with Memorial Day this weekend and Independence day just around the corner.
No need to have a contest, just the opportunity to get some good shots and share. What do you think?

Methodically disorganized
A few years ago I was not a particularly good photographer, but I did get lucky once in a while - like with this one before the Old Town Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade of 2004.

And then 3 from the same spot in Vermont; whenever I'm there I think about what it means...

I fly my flag 24/7, 365 days a year.
And yes, I do have a light on the baby at night.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Near the intersection of 234 and 5 there is a house with 1 large flag pole (stars and stripes) and 5 smaller (each of the armed forces) arranged in front. It's very simple but it effectively gets the point across.

Good stuff...I likey...I have some but involve equestrian events...been shooting the day lights out of Rodeos out here lately. Lighting is poor, so I'm on 3200 iso at a minimum...waaaaaaaaa. Cool shooting though.
