Hi, folks! Happy Friday! Back home and lovin' it.

The Memorial Day weekend circus was just getting started yesterday, and I am SO glad to be home!!!

If you choose to travel in the next few days, stay off of I 85 and I 95 in North Carolina if you can. That state elected to do new and unannounced road repairs on both routes, closing off lanes with no warning. I saw an 8-mile (and rapidly growing) backup north of Charlotte, and heard about others via CB radio. The truckers are (rightfully so) pretty ticked off, and I'm sure the thousands of others are just as angry.

One blockage in Virginia really torqued me off - the left lane was closed off because it was apparently too much trouble to move a mobile crane off of the roadway.
