It's National Craft Month

Among other things.

Created by the Craft & Hobby Association in 1994, it was designed to help people learn about and re-discover the joy of crafting and all its many benefits. It’s the perfect excuse to indulge in all things crafty.

So in honor of this month I was wondering what YOU craft? I'm thinking maybe some of can get together for a stash swap meet or Stitch N Xitch or some other crafty good time.

BTW, I'm a crafting fool, and am actually trying to curb my enthusiasm for new projects so I can finish many of the ones waiting on me.

Right now I'm crocheting a cowl and I'm embroidering guest towels for St Patrick's Day.

umm..do you have a pinterest? Awesome for crafty people. I am the most UNCRAFTY person, like, ever. I have zero artistic talent and I suck at all things art. I am a hell of a cook, though..and I think that should count just don't ask me to decorate the fried chicken, cuz it would be ugly.


oooh I can kinda sorta crochet..I started making a scarf and it mysteriously kept getting smaller and narrower every row..so I gave up

As for your scarf - when you reached the end of your row, you forgot to chain one and turn before starting your next row.

Pinterest - is way cool. But I have serious concerns with it and do not use it. I'm afraid it's going to wind up biting a few folks in the tush.

Basically it means that Pinterest can get sued for copyright infringement and actually you are the one held responsible instead.

Nearly all of my pins link back to the website or blog they came from, I think that companies LOVE pinterest, it gets them hits on their site like crazy! In fact, I am going to start hubbing again, and I am going to upload pics to my hubs and pin them on pinterest, I can see it getting me tons of hits...and hopefully dollarsssss.
